Laura Fay to present at APWA conference in Des Moines in April
The American Public Works Association (APWA) North American Snow Conference will be held on April 23-25 in Des Moines, Iowa. The conference is an opportunity for snow control experts and educators to share the latest research and regional approaches to snow management. Center Associate Director Laura Fay will be attending and presenting “Salty Water & Brown Trees – Current Strategies to Mitigate Impacts”. The presentation will focus on potential impacts of abrasives, chlorides, acetates, formats, glycerols, glycols, and blended products on air quality, surface & ground water, roadside soils, flora, and fauna.
