Jenny Liu and Xianming Shi present at Sustainability Workshop
Researchers Jenny Liu and Xianming Shi recently presented at the 1st International Workshop on Sustainability Innovation in Transportation Infrastructure hosted by the University of Tennessee, Knoxville on March 30-31. The workshop gathered world-known experts to share research progress in sustainability innovations, explore future research needs and develop collaborative research opportunities. Dr. Liu presented “Materials Adaptation to Climate Change and Extreme Events: Case Studies” and Dr. Shi presented “Graphene Oxide Enables the Expanded Use of Coal Fly Ash as a Sustainable Cementitious Binder”. The workshop concluded with a “State-of-the-Art” Review which will later produce a peer-review publication.
