2014 Alaska Concrete Summit: Economical Innovations for Extended Service Life
On November 24th & 25th, 2014, Alaska DOT&PF and CESTiCC hosted the 2014 Concrete Summit: "Economical Innovations for Extended Service Life" in Anchorage, Alaska. The Summit was "developed to be of use and interest for anyone involved in concrete construction and design, particularly for transportation structures in Alaska." (AKDOT&PF) A number of topics were presented on including Polyester Concrete, Lean Geopolymer Concrete Embankments and Best Practice for Incorporating Recycled Concrete Aggregates. CESTiCC's Director, Jenny Liu, presented on "Development of Innovative Antifreeze Grout Mortar for Anchor Application in Cold Regions."
