The 5th International Association of Chinese Infrastructure Professionals Annual Workshop
The 5th International Association of Chinese Infrastructure Professionals (IACIP) Annual Workshop was held in conjunction with the 94th TRB annual conference on January 11, 2015, at Marriott Marquis, Washington, D.C. The theme of the workshop was “Innovation and Advancement in Transportation Infrastructure Technologies”. CESSTiCC staff and students participated in several events organized in the workshop.
CESTiCC student Lin Li’s research, entitled “A Photogrammetry-based Method to Measure Unsaturated Soil Deformation during Triaxial Testing”, was selected for the Poster Session and Competition.
CESTiCC researchers Liv Haselbach and Jenny Liu were invited to present their recent research during the technical sessions. Liv’s topic was “Pervious concrete in Pullman”. Jenny’s topic was “Performance of Paving Fabric Reinforced Asphalt Mixture”.
CESTiCC researchers Xianming Shi and Ning Xie were invited to serve as the moderators for two technical sessions.
IACIP was established in 2010 by a group of professionals that had a consensus to provide a forum for professionals working or studying in the fields of Civil Infrastructure and Systems (CIS) and related areas. IACIP Annual Workshop has been identified as one of the highest-quality professional events and has attracted increasing attention since its creation.
