Haselbach to present at Catalyzing Change: Northwest Green Chemistry Roundtable 2014
CESTiCC Associate Director Liv Haselbach has been invited to be a panelist at the Catalyzing Change: Northwest Green Chemistry Roundtable 2014, which will be held all day, Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014, at the Greater Tacoma Convention and Trade Center. Dr. Haselbach will be a part of Panel 1 entitled: Puget Sound EcoToxicology: Impacts of Toxics in Stormwater on Salmon & Examples of Innovative Solutions. She will be speaking of the benefits of permeable pavements, particularly pervious concrete, in reducing pollutant loads to receiving waters, especially those that might impact cold water aquatic species.
