Congratulations, Sheng!
Congratulations to Dr. Sheng Zhao, CESTiCC’s research coordinator, for receiving The Golden Heart Meeting Ambassador Award for 2015, presented by Explore Fairbanks. This award honors Dr. Sheng Zhao and CESTiCC’s hard work and contributions to the local community for organizing the International Symposium of Systematic Approaches to Environmental Sustainability in Transportation held in August, 2015 in Fairbanks, Alaska. On February 17, 2016, Dr. Zhao accepted his award at the Golden Heart Gala from Mr. Jeff Jacobson, representing the City of Fairbanks Mayor’s office. Each year, Explore Fairbanks recognizes the city’s Golden Heart Greeter Volunteers and Golden Heart Meeting Ambassadors at the Golden Heart Gala. CESTiCC appreciates the recognition from our local community and will keep up our outreach activities.
