UAF Steel Bridge Team and Concrete Canoe Stand Strong at Regional Competition
The UAF Steel Bridge and Concrete Canoe teams participated in the northwest regional competitions from 4/8-4/10 in Moscow, Idaho. The Concrete Canoe team, dubbed The Pride, was only UAF’s third entry in the competition and succeeded in turning some heads. The team is very excited to continue competing and has high hopes to bring home the gold in the near future.
The UAF Steel bridge team came away with top honors at the 2016 northwest regional competition. The team received the 1st place display and the 1st place overall award. The team will now go on to represent the Pacific Northwest Region at the national event in Provo, Utah from May 27-28. CESTiCC is proud to sponsor both teams and we wish them the best of luck at the national competition and in the years to come!
