ACI Alaska Chapter Presents at ASCE Student Chapter Meeting
On December 10, American Concrete Institute (ACI) Alaska Chapter delegates, President Xavier Schlee, Vice President (Northern Region) Jennifer Wilson, and Board Director Jenny Liu, were invited to give a presentation at ASCE Student Chapter meeting at University of Alaska Fairbanks. They gave an overview of ACI Alaska Chapter to students and also talked about concrete construction in Alaska and challenges and opportunities to promote the best use of concrete. At the end, President Xavier Schlee expressed Alaska Chapter’s willingness to continue to support engineering students groups. ACI Alaska Chapter will be working with current ASCE student groups to establish ACI Student Chapter at UAF.
