Congratulations, Dr. Jenny Liu!
Congratulations to CESTiCC's Director Dr. Jenny Liu who was promoted to the rank of professor at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. This rank will be in effect starting starting July 1, 2015. Dr. Liu joined UAF as an assistant professor in the Department of Civil and Enviornmental Engineering in 2006. She received her tenure and promotion to an associate professor in 2011.
The rank of professor is the highest academic honor a university extends to a member of the faculty. The rank carries with it responsibilities to provide continue professional leadership to junior colleagues, and to continuing excellence in teaching, research and service to advance your discipline and the university.
