Liv Haselbach presents on pervious concrete in Cartagena, Colombia
Dr. Liv Haselbach traveled to Cartagena Colombia during the week of September 19th for several events related to her research with CESTiCC and pervious concrete. She was a US delegate to the ISO (International Standards Organization) Technical Committee 71 on concrete, working both on Subcommittee 8 for environmental management of concrete and Subcommittee 1 for testing methods of concrete, focusing on pervious concrete. On September 23, she gave a presentation on her work on pervious concrete at the ASOCRETO annual convention. ASOCRETO is the Colombian association for concrete and the convention was attended by thousands. Dr. Haselbach was also invited by Argos to have her presentation on pervious concrete recorded for its web platform and the link should be available next month.
The final meeting for ISO with delegates from many nations voting on resolutions from the four days of meetings.
