CESTiCC introduces roads and transportation to students at Pearl Creek Elementary
Joe Alloway and Chuang Lin from CESTiCC presented to 2nd and 3rd graders at Pearl Creek Elementary on Monday, May 9th about roads and transportation issues. They presented some of the myriad challenges Alaskan infrastructure faces and invited the students to share their thoughts for possible solutions. After the students wrapped their heads around transportation, they were challenged to create their own roads using a mixture of NeoTracks and asphalt concrete samples which were made in UAF’s labs.
