Abstract

These presentations are part of the 2016 CESTiCC Summer workshop, which will be held on August 12th, 2016 in Bozeman Montana. The presentations for the first session are as follows. The Reliability and Effectiveness of a Radar Based Animal Detection System and Road Crossing Behavior of Large Ungulates Lectern 1 - Marcel Huijser Woolen Roadside Erosion Control Blankets Lectern 2 - Monica Pokorny Energy Harvesting and Self-power Monitoring System for the Next Generation Smart Roadways Lectern 3 - Samer Dessouky Unlike standard webinars, there will not be time for question and answer after each presentation. Speaker Bio(s)

Marcel Huijser is a Road Ecologist for the Western Transportation Institute at Montana State University. 

Monica Pokorny is a Senior Scientist/Project Manager for Plant Ecology and Reclamation Science for KC Harvey Environmental, LLC.

Samer Dessouky is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Texas, San Antonio.
