Project Information

Our work addresses information needs by providing science-based information to inform the conservation and management of wolverines in the Canadian portion of the Crown of the Continent. In the US, wolverines are currently being reviewed for Threatened under the Endangered Species Act. Our multi-partner survey effort in Canada alone has resulted in amassing camera and NGS data over an area greater than the size of the entire Crown of the Continent ecosystem (>51,000 km2 [>19,000 mi2]. We will merge occupancy and genetic datasets in order to strengthen dispersal models and identify linkages throughout the Canadian Crown of the Continent.
